Timbaland is set to join Jay Z on his Magna Carter World tour when it rolls into Dublin’s O2 on October 6.It was a sight music fans never thought they would see again, Jay Z and Timbaland on the same stage, after a petty disagreement in 2009 led them to fall out of favour with each other.
However, the pair – who worked closely together for over ten years – cemented their friendship once again when they teamed up for the track BBC on Jay Z’s latest album after settling their differences.
It has now been confirmed that the producer will perform with the rapper during his upcoming UK and Ireland tour from October 3, which kicks off in Manchester and ends at London’s O2 Arena on October 14, as well as feature throughout his Europe tour.
Speaking previously Timbaland said: ”Jay and I fell out. I missed his 40th [birthday.] It was over petty stuff. It was more personal stuff and disagreements. It was not industry-related. It was personal, and I was wrong.
”[The fall-out] was low key, nobody knows about this. But when you’re real friends, you will disagree and not speak and come back together and realise that you’re better together than apart.”
Timbaland new solo album is expected to be released in early 2014.
