Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa state  casted his vote around 1:30 pm asking the people of Jigawa state to remain united in spite of the election that has pitched APC against the PDP.

Lamido, who casted his vote at Bamaina Primary School polling unit A said he is optimistic PDP will win.   ” The Presidential election has come and gone, but like I always say Jigawa people are one. We are brothers and sisters in this state. We will continue to live with each other no matter what. I have always cautioned on wild celebration and mocking of opponent. It is ungodly. We hope to win this election by the grace of God because no politician goes to election and hope to loose”
