Kenyan shilling steady, horticulture inflows to cushion dollar demand

NAIROBI (Reuters) – Kenya’s shilling was steady on Tuesday and was forecast to come under pressure in the days ahead due to dollar demand from the manufacturing and telecoms sectors, while inflows from horticulture exporters will offer support, traders said.

At 0945 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.23/35 to the dollar, the same as Monday’s close.
