meeting between the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and a United Kingdom government delegation has discussed various issues concerning the 2019 general elections.
The meeting, held at the national secretariat of the APC, had the UK delegation led by the Head of West Africa Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in London, Mr. Rob Dixon.
The delegation was received by the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the Deputy National Chairman (South), Engr. Segun Oni; and the Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, among others.
Mr. Dixon, who spoke to journalists after the meeting which held behind closed doors, said the meeting dwelt on the forthcoming 2019 general elections and the UK’s engagements in Nigeria.
