The campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of next Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State on Thursday shut-down Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

The PDP used the occasion to market its governorship candidate and deputy governor of the state, Prof. Olusola Kolapo Eleka, as well as its 2019 presidential aspirants who all spoke at the event.
Speaking at the occasion, the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus said,”You know those behind the killings in the country, if you vote for APC, you are voting for killers and herdsmen to take your lands.”
Serving and former governors, senators, NWC members, former principal members of the National Assembly and 2019 presidential aspirants on the platform of the PDP were at the rally.
Present for the campaign are all members of the National Working Committee (NWC), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governors Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo (Gombe), Chigozie Ikpeazu (Abia), Darius Ishaku (Taraba) and Emmanuel Udom (Akwa Ibom).
Similarly, former governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi, former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara and many others are on the campaign ground.
