Yunus made the assertion during an enlightenment campaign organised by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) at the popular Musa Slaughter and Market in Agbor.

He urged parents to caution their children against indecent dressing, saying that the way some girls were dressing while still in custody of their parents, called for urgent action.

According to him, parents should monitor what their girl children put on before they leave the house.

“Parents still have a lot of role to play on the issue of cultism, which is mostly found among young boys under the care of their parents.

“Parents should inculcate good moral behaviour in their children in order to reduce social vices among our youths.

“Hausa Community in Agbor had been living in peace over the years with their hosts.
“We will continue to encourage all those factors that promote peace and harmony for cohesion in the society,” he said.

Commenting, the State Director of NOA, Mr Chris Anyabiene, said there was need for Nigerians to live in peace and harmony.
According to him, disputes should be settled amicably through peaceful dialogue rather than use of violence which does not bring about good things.

Anyabiene urged the Hausa Community and market women in the state to help in the fight against rape, saying that rape cases and cultism were on the increase.

He thanked the Government and people of Delta for their efforts in the fight against the outbreak of COVID-19 by keeping to the preventive measures.
Anyabiene urged people of Delta not to relent as the pandemic had not been totally eradicated.
