Kano, Oct.21, 2020 The Kano State Hisbah Board has cautioned parents to continuously monitor the activities of their children and wards so that they are not used as agents of violence.

Dr. Harun Ibn-Sina, the Commander-General of the Board, stated this in a statement signed by Lawan Ibrahim, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Board, on Wednesday in Kano.

Ibn-Sina disclosed this at a meeting of local government Commanders, held on Oct. 21, 2020 at the Board’s headquarters in Sharada quarters of the metropolis, to ensure peace.

He said this had become imperative in view of the series of reports from other parts of the country.

“Riots and protests have reached all nooks and crannies, and the situation is currently on the verge of undermining national security,” he said in the statement.

The Commander General called on the people of Kano to pray ceaselessly for the peace and harmony of the State, in particular, and the country in general, adding that the situation called for fervent prayers.
