Awka, March 9, 2021 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Anambra, Mr Paul Orajiaka, has promised to create job opportunities, provide good road networks, health, education and security for residents if elected.
Orajiaka made the promise while addressing party stakeholders at his campaign office in Awka on Tuesday.
The govership aspirant said that he had the ability and potential to transform the state given his academic and business backgrounds.
“As an entrepreneur par excellence, I have built my business from nothing to something. Someone that sells baby toys, but was elevated by God to the point of aspiring to be a governor. It is all about grace.
“I know and have what it takes to rule a state. I have taken my time to build my business, academics and financial base. We are prepared for what is ahead. So no cause for alarm.
“If I emerge the APC candidate and elected, my focus will be to provide stable power supply, improved healthcare, education, job opportunities, road networks and security of lives and property, “he said.
Orajiaka said he had toured the 21 local government areas (LGAs) of the state to gather data on the various challenges faced by residents.
“As a PhD student in UK, we love data and analysis and we have itemised our findings after visiting the 21 LGAs of the state.
After due analysis, we can tell you the peculiarities of the challenges which we narrowed down to six key areas – electricity, road network, job opportunities, health, education and security.
“These things trouble us as a people and we are putting everything in place to address them,” he said.
Orajiaka urged party faithful to have confidence in his ability to deliver on his campaign promises.
He said that genuine love for the state and the people informed his decision to contest in the election.
“This journey is a collective one. We are all partners in this project. I pray God sees me worthy of being the David of our time to take us to the government house, ” Orajiaka said
Earlier, the State Chairman of APC, Chief Basil Ejidike, promised a level playing field for all the party aspirants.
